NOWATA’S FUTURE
Nowata’s Future Community Development Workshop will meet on
Tuesday, June 29th from 4:00 till 6:30 pm. at the Nowata Chamber of
Commerce, 126 South Maple. The fifth in the ongoing Community
Development Workshops is open to anyone interested in progress and
development in the Nowata area.
Interested citizens and resource providers will be informed about past
successes in the areas of: Building Nowata’s Pro-Business
Environment, Promoting Nowata’s Workforce and Educational
Advantages, Addressing Critical Infrastructure Issues and Developing a
County Wide Partnership for Economic Development. Anyone
attending for the first time will be welcomed to participate and
encouraged to their give input on issues and projects for the
betterment of the Nowata area.
Rhonda Clemons, the SACC-EZ Economic Development Coordinator
will address the group and also Mike Simmons and Cheryl Hawkins of
the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission have been invited to
share information about services offered in Nowata. State, County and
local representatives have also been invited to participate in this event.
A light supper will be served so please RSVP to
