Nowata Chamber of Commerce
On behalf of the Nowata VFW & Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 2745, I would like to
invite you participate and/or attend the 2nd Annual Veterans Day Parade on
Saturday, November 13th at 11am.
Attached you will find a description/agenda of the event, as well as the
application/registration form. If you would like to participate, please fill out the
attached parade application and drop it off at the Chamber or the VFW. You
may also just email me or call me and let me know so that I can get you a
number in the parade line-up. There will also be float/entry contest this year. No
Entry Fee! Pre-registration is required to be eligible for the contest. Prizes will
be awarded.
We also welcome walk-ons. No float is necessary. Should you decided the day
of the parade you want to be in it, just let me know!
We are also extending an invitation to our 3rd Annual Veterans Day Bash
"Honoring Those Who Have Served" at 12:30pm at the Nowata VFW. We will
have many new displays and activities for everyone to enjoy. Senator John Ford
will be our guest speaker for opening ceremonies.
Thank you for your continued support to our organization and to our ever
vigilant, never tiring, always serving veterans.
