Below is information from Dee Armstong for the upcoming Nowata Alumni Reunion
scheduled for June 11-13.
2010 NOWATA ALUMNI REUNION PLANS UNDERWAY
NHS alums get ready ‘cause the Alumni Reunion is comin’ June 11-13, 2010.
Registration will begin Friday, June 11, in the Nowata High School Commons Area.
Friday evening beginning at 7:00 p.m., there will be food and entertainment downtown.
Bring your lawn chairs and your children or grandchildren and enjoy visiting with old
friends.
Saturday morning, booths will be set up and alumni artists and authors will display their
work in the Arvest Bank Lobby. Please contact Mike Boultinghouse at 918-273-3442 if
you would like to share your work or do a book signing.
The parade is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. John Woolman, Regent Bank, is
coordinating the parade, so be sure to contact him to enter your class float. We're
anxious to see who will be the most original. Ramona (Heath) Rowland will be in charge
of the band and we would love to have many alums participating.
Alumni will provide entertainment for the Ironman Variety Show at 1:30 p.m. Terry Jordan
will coordinate the show and Linda Patton will emcee. Please

would be willing to perform Saturday in the High School gym or if you have suggestions.
Classes are reserving classrooms to gather and visit for Saturday afternoon as well.

reserve a room for your class.
Saturday evening at 7:00 p.m. more food and entertainment will be downtown Nowata.
The weekend will conclude with a church service Sunday morning at
9:30 a.m. in the high school gym.

left, click on Alumni to enter your name and class information in the database. As other
activities are scheduled, they will be listed on the website.

A $10 donation is requested from each alum to help pay for the different activities. You
may make your check payable to Nowata All-School Reunion and mail to Arvest Bank,
c/o Terri Bartholomew, Post Office Box 312, Nowata, OK 74048. The donation is tax
deductible.
We are hoping to have a Reunion Golf Tournament on Friday afternoon. More later on
that.
