Nowata Chamber of Commerce
It is time to mark your calendars for the 2011 Annual Nowata Area Chamber of
Commerce Banquet to be held on Thursday, January 20, 6:30pm at Hillside
Christian Church Life Center. This year's guest speaker will be Chuck Hoskin,
Jr., Cherokee Nation Tribal Councilor District 9.
We would also like to present Recognition Awards in the following categories:
Citizen of the Year
Volunteer of the Year
Lifetime Achievement
Business of the year
New Business of the Year
Beautification Business of the Year
If you would like to make a nomination, please send the nominee's name and
contact information with a statement of why you would like to nominate and for
what category. Nominations need to be at our office by Friday, January 7. You
may email or postal mail.
We will also be awarding Boy & Girl of the Year awards for high school senior
students of Nowata County .
And if you would like to provide a door prize or basket from your organization to
be given away in the door prize drawings, please let us know.
The menu will be a delicious brisket dinner with dessert.
Tickets are $15.00 and may be purchased at the Chamber office at 126 S.
Maple between 8 :00am-12:00noon or from any Chamber Board of Director.
